New Year reception held in the Presidential Palace

New Year reception was held in the Presidential palace. The President and First Lady hosted the diplomatic corps and representatives of the government. The President wished the guests a Happy New Year and summarized the year of 2015.

The president said that the country has made progresss in several important areas, steps were taken to strengthen the NATO- Georgia communication and partnership.

"We had the opportunity to work hard on the European integration agenda. Georgia made an important step in developing relations with NATO. We have much to work on regional security issues, including peace-building in Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova, "- Margvelashvili said.
