Officers of Tbilisi Main Division of the Patrol Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained I.V., born in 1965, who had a previous conviction, and A.N., born in 2004, a Romanian citizen, on separate occasions, on charges of facilitating the illegal purchase, storage, and sale of large amounts of narcotics.

As a result of personal searches and search activities held in detainees' residential apartments in Tbilisi, law enforcement officers also seized a large amount of narcotics, including "Methadone" and "Alpha-PVP", prepared for sale, from one of the locations as evidence.

The police also seized materials necessary for packaging narcotics.

The investigation is underway under Articles 260 and 260-4 of the Criminal Code, which provides for up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
