The restoration of damaged road infrastructure across the capital will be carried out in the near future, mainly during nighttime hours. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.

As he added, the winning company has already been identified, which will implement the relevant projects throughout the city.

"Since the winter season, bad weather and sharp fluctuations in temperature have heavily damaged the road infrastructure in the capital. There are specific road sections that are damaged and require urgent intervention. We had announced a tender in this direction, and we already have a winning company, which will carry out the relevant response across the whole city, especially during nighttime hours, not only on central streets but also on inner neighborhood roads, so that the road infrastructure across the capital is put in order", - said Kakha Kaladze.

He thanked the population for their involvement and support.

"As for the restoration of the damaged sections, the works will be conducted mainly during nighttime hours, which is accompanied by certain discomfort in the form of noise, however, this will not last long. Due to the fact that closing the road during the day causes very big problems, plus the works will be conducted on several streets simultaneously, consequently, we will have to work only during nighttime hours", - noted the Mayor.
