The auction in support of an American businessman John Wurdeman was held in Tbilisi. The variety of specially chosen brands of wine were presented at the auction.

John Wurdeman`s house burnt down in Signaki about 2 weeks - along with the building, the unique ethnographic collection and a wine cellar also was destroyed.

American painter, winemaker and businessman settled in Georgia in the 90s.He has a great contribution to the popularization of Georgian wine.
