As part of the cultural program, the First Ladies of Serbia and Georgia visited the Kakheti region

As part of the official visit of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, to Georgia, the First Lady of Serbia, Tamara Vučić, was hosted by the spouse of the Georgian President, Tamar Bagrationi.

The First Ladies travelled to Kakheti as part of a curated cultural itinerary, where they visited the Sighnaghi Museum of History and Ethnography, part of the National Museum of Georgia. Tamar Bagrationi introduced Tamara Vučić to the region’s rich historical heritage, its unique ethnographic treasures, and masterpieces of Georgian art.

The First Ladies also visited the Bodbe Saint Nino Convent, one of Georgia`s most significant spiritual and cultural sanctuaries. The parties noted that such visits serve to highlight even more clearly the enduring cultural and spiritual ties that bind these two Orthodox Christian nations.
