The Georgian parliamentary delegation is holding official meetings in the Belgian capital, Brussels. Negotiations have already taken place in the country’s Parliament.
As the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations, Nikoloz Samkharadze, noted, one of the topics of the meeting was Georgia-EU relations.
“We provided our Belgian colleagues with information about what is happening in the occupied territories, what threats arise from the Russian occupation, and in general, what a difficult security situation is in the South Caucasus and the Black Sea region.
We explained to our Belgian colleagues that we believe that the approach chosen by the European Union towards Georgia is unfair and ineffective, and our desire and goal is to resume political dialogue”, - said Nikoloz Samkharadze.
