Minister of Internal Affairs Sulkhan Tamazashvili, together with his deputy Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, visited the Migration Department.

Sulkhan Tamazashvili held a working meeting with the leadership of the department and reviewed the reforms implemented within the structural unit. The Minister emphasized that the fight against illegal migration remains one of the priority areas of the Government. It was also noted at the meeting that the strengthened legislative framework and updated infrastructure have made the fight against illegal migration even more effective.

Within the framework of the visit, the Minister inspected the new administrative building and updated vehicle fleet of the Migration Department. Sulkhan Tamazashvili thanked the employees of the department for their result-oriented work.
