Officers of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested 4 people on charges of illegal purchase and storage of a particularly large amount of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, as well as facilitating their sale.

As a result of defendants` personal search and search activities held in their vehicles and residential buildings, law enforcement officers seized as evidence a particularly large amount of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances prepared for sale, including: up to 1 kg of "MDMA", up to half a kilogram of "Alpha PVP", "Mephedrone", "Cocaine", "Methadone", "LSD" and "Ketamine".

As a result of investigative actions, law enforcement officers also seized materials necessary for packaging narcotic drugs. The investigation is underway under Articles 260, 260-4 and 261 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, envisioning up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
