Badri [Patarkatsishvili] was absolutely convinced that [Mikheil] Saakashvili killed Zurab Zhvania [former Prime Minister of Georgia]. Businessman Irakli Rukhadze said this in the podcast “Sakartvelos dabadeba” [“Birth of Georgia”].

As he noted, Badri Patarkatsishvili spent a lot of energy and resources on investigating the case of Zhvania’s death, but could not bring it to an end.

“By the way, I was always arguing with him. I don’t know what his arguments were, but he spent a lot of money to investigate this story - on security, on this, on that - he was always looking into this history when he became Saakashvili’s political enemy. Badri spent a great deal of energy and resources on all of this, he couldn’t bring it to the end, he didn’t reach the point of having something tangible, but Badri was absolutely convinced of this”, - said Irakli Rukhadze.
