The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, held an introductory meeting with Amit Kumar Mishra, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Georgia, who took up his post in Georgia in March of this year.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the dynamics of bilateral relations between the two countries and prospects for the further development of partnership.

Particular note was taken of the progress achieved in bilateral trade and economic relations. The discussions also focused on the importance of further deepening cooperation across various fields. The Minister wished the Ambassador of India every success in his future endeavours.
