Two people died due to severe frost

Two people have died as a result of unbearable conditions in the cold open air in recent days. Six people still remain in Moscow Avenue, where the so-called tent city used to be, but the tents are no longer here. Some of the homeless people could not get into a new shelter built with funding of the City Hall, some were expelled because of the violation of the regulations.

According to the head of the of Social Service Department, out of two people who died only one was from the list of beneficiaries and he refused to moved to a new shelter and stayed on the ground on his own will.
Another homeless is still staying in Moscow Avenue.The Ukrainian citizen Badri Gabrichidze has long been spending nights in his car. He was not offered a place in a new shelter, so he has some items in the car which he uses when the frost is particularly severe.

Onise Nijaradze was expelled from the shelter for the violation of internal rules and has to spend the night in the street.

Courier got interested in new shelter for homeless people which was recently opened. 150 beneficiaries are living in the moment in the shelter for 240 people. In order to get a place in the shelter each should meet specific terms.
