It is particularly gratifying that "Changi", the operator company of Singapore International Airport, has expressed interest in Georgia`s aviation industry and confirmed that they will participate in the international tender to be announced by the Georgian government to select the operator for the new Vaziani International Airport. Such a statement made the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, following meetings in Singapore, where she is accompanying the Head of Government.

As Mariam Kvrivishvili noted, the interest from Singapore’s Changi Airport operator company is a major signal for the industry.

"This is, of course, a very important and positive signal for our country, the international aviation industry, and all investors, as it clearly demonstrates our country`s aviation and investment potential", - added the Minister.
