The Tbilisi City Court fully accepted the evidence presented by the Prosecutor`s Office and found the defendant guilty of facilitating the illegal purchase, storage and sale of a particularly large amount of narcotics.

The evidence examined at the trial confirmed that the accused, with the aim of facilitating the illegal sale of narcotics, illegally purchased and stored a particularly large amount of narcotics, 262.39096 grams of "Alpha-PVP".

The said narcotics and the items necessary for its packaging were seized by officers of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of searches.

The accused was charged under Article 260, Part 3, Subparagraph "a" (illegal purchase and storage of narcotic drugs in an especially large amount) and Article 260, Part 3, Subparagraph "a" (facilitation of the illegal sale of narcotic drugs in an especially large amount) of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

The court found the defendant guilty of the charges and sentenced him to 16 years in prison.
