400 people have been dismissed from the Ministry of Defence. Accordng to engineering and construction base staff they were dismissed from the service without any explanation. Former employees of the Defense Ministry today protested against the decision.

It is known that and agencies subject to Tina Khidasheli will be elimimnated and 700 people will be left unemployed.

The Courier crew was not allowed to enter the engineering and construction base and the staff refused to comment on the issue, although the heads of departments were at their woring places.

The Defense Ministry has issued a written statement at the end of the day and expressed its readiness to meet with the staff.
