Giorgi Sharabidze, Deputy Chair of the Central Election Commission (CEC), met with young people at the Gombori Volunteer Training Centre.

Giorgi Sharabidze provided participants with detailed information on the Election Administration’s activities, key technological innovations, and educational projects. He also highlighted the importance of youth engagement in electoral processes and outlined the main stages of the electoral process. The CEC Deputy Chair emphasized the impact of disinformation on society and the electoral process and presented the Election Administration’s strategy for combating disinformation.

Giorgi Sharabidze presented the Election Administration’s journal, Elections 360 Degrees, to the volunteers, noting that the publication provides readers with comprehensive and multifaceted information on current electoral issues.

During the meetings, the young participants actively engaged in discussions and received comprehensive answers to their questions.

The Election Administration held its second meeting at the Gombori Volunteer Training Centre. Information meetings are also planned with volunteers from the centre’s upcoming cohorts.
