25-year-old Levan Lapachi detained by the Russian occupants returned home late last night. He was illegally detained by Russian border guards on the outskirts of the village of Kere for the so-called Illegal border crossing.

He was taken to Tskhinvali prison, from where he was released after paying a fine. The family said he was collecting firewood when he was arrested.

According to the locals, the number of such incidents in the village has increased. Five people were arrested at different times on the same charges. This was the sixth case.
