The traffic movement is restricted on the roads in Guria due to heavy snow.Despite cleaning works some villages are accessible only on foot since it the snow did not stop throughout the day.

Three villages in   Racha have been isolated for several days. Two- meter- snow coverage has blocked all the roads and the population cannot connect the district center. Locals say that no one came to help them and the population finds it difficult to leave their houses .

The avalanche occurred late at night in the village of Gebi, leaving the road blocked for several hours.

Learning process was suspended due to heavy snowfall in 10 schools. It has been snowing all day in Kakheti.

Traffic was fully closed on the Mleta-Gudauri road section because of expected hurricane and avalanche.
Ministry of Internal Affairs and "Energo-Pro Georgia" are workng in emergency mode.
