Studies were suspended in 384 schools . The decision was taken by the Ministry of Education due to bad weather conditions and the number of viral infections.

Based on the recommendations of the National Center for Disease Control, the schooling process was suspended at 180 schools.

Due to bad weather conditions in the country the studies were stopped in public schools in Guria, Adjara, Kakheti and Mtskheta-Mtianeti .

According to the Ministry of Education, a total of 204 schools stopped working because of the severe weather conditions.

It is still unclear whether these schools will resume lessons from Monday, as it is believed that viral infections may increase.
