TV Maestro"s Director General made a special statement. Baia Gadabadze says that for her alienation of the shares is suspicious, because the company, which has 50 million as a debt was sold for a few millions. She sees a political motive in the process, however states that she is not going to resign.
"The real buyer of shares is the unofficial manager of TV Imedi, Irakli Rukhadze. Several million were sold in the bankrupt company, which of course does not fit into any business logic. The only attractiveness of TV Maestro is its political appeal. The result could be the loss of the independence of the editorial processes, therefore I am not going to work in the TV company with new partners. I"m waiting for the final decision of the owners,"- said Baia Gadabadze, the Director General of TV Maestro.
