Taiwan earthquake death toll rose to 35. Rescue works were conducted non-stop during the whole night. Most of the victims were in a 17-storey house which was completely destroy in a 6.4 magnitude quake on Saturday .

The local authorities have launched an investigation into the safety of the building`s construction. Rescue work is still going on in the building ruins.
