Five persons from the National Movement and Partisan gardeners movement were detained with charges of not obeying police at the protest rally in Tsikhisdziri. They were protesting against replanting of the unique varieties of trees .

The clash with police took place after the rally participants asked to show the construction permit and demanded the suspension of the trees relocation process. The requirements on the basis of their work was hampered by heavy equipment.

The National Movement accuses the police of wrongdoing. The parliamentary majority is convinced that the action of Police was legal.
