As a result of fire, 44 families residing in Poti street were left homeless. The fire broke out in the afternoon on the 3rd floor of the residential house . Locals say that the electricity wires in the attic ignited. As a result of the fire a rescuer was injured.

Locals say that the fire brigades were late for half an hour, and the fire spread to a large area. The emergency service denies the fact.

Due to the threat of fire spreading to other areas , 16 fire brigades worked on the spot.
