Georgian citizen dies in Syria

30-year-old man died in Syria. Beslan Mukhtarov had lived in village of Karajala, Telavi District. Village attorney Alskar Sardarov says Mukhtarov worked for years in Turkey and it is unclear when the young man moved to Syria. Beslan Mukhtarov was graduated as a doctor and looked after the wounded in Syria.

Azerbaijani media reports, in October 2015 he went to Syria, and died in December. Beslan Mukhtarov was killed by air strikes. Azeri media reported he was a member of the grouping Jabhat Al Nusra.
