95 years since annexation

February 25 is the day of the Soviet occupation. In connection with the date the state flags will be lowered.of the parliament and other buildings of state institutions.

On February 17, 1921, Soviet Russia"s 11th Army, without declaring war, annexed the territory of Georgia. The Georgian cadets confronted the russian army on February 25 in Tabakhmela . The majority of young people fell on the battlefield. The government went to immigration.

The Parliament declared February 25 as the day of the Soviet occupation in 2010.
