Alexandre Mikeladze, Director of Batumi Water, resigned during the investigation, - the Ministry of Regional Development says. 

According to the Ministry, Batumi Mayor Giorgi Ermakov satisfied Mikeladze’s application.

"Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Nodar Javakhishvili, talked to Archil Khabadze, Chairman of the government of Adjara’s Autonomous Republic, with regard to the incident related to Alexandre Mikeladze. The case is being investigated by the Interior Ministry of the Autonomous Republic. As for Alexandre Mikeladze, he left his post until the end of the investigation. Mayor Giorgi Ermakov satisfied his application, "- says the statement.

A few days ago café KB accused Alexandre Mikeladze of deliberate shutdown of water after the latter could not get a vacant table in the café.
