A controversy took place  between students and security officers at the TbilisiStateUniversity.

The students were requesting to let them attend the Senate session, however the guards refused them to enter the sitting room.

Police is mobilized on the scene.

Students protest against  the election of the chancellor.

There is only  one candidate - Giorgi Gaprindashvili  running for the position. The students accuse him of secret cooperation with the security services and pressure on students.
