After Tbilisi State University Academic Council meeting ended , the Rector of the University Lado Papava left the building uunder boos of students.

Papava again stressed his decision and said he was not going to resign.

The Rector did not say why he left the building and where he went, but accordng to unofficial reports he was expected to meet with Education Minister Tamar Sanikidze.

The rector of the university is planning to return later.
