During the night, the situation was tense at Tbilisi State University, although the physical confrontation among the students with dissenting opinion did not happen again.

Law enforcement officers tried to calm the situation - laterr there was a clash between police and student demonstrators. Students dissatisfaction was caused by the decision of the police not to let young people standing outside into the building.

A few of them tried to get in through the windows.. Before the incident, the students had meetings with NGOs and presidential adviser Pikria Chikhradze.
