It is not rules out that the members of the students` self- government will not allow today the University Rector to enter his office- at this point they do not openly talk about it but state that Lado Papava should leave the position.

The students spent the whole night in the reception of the rector of the University where the Academic Council meeting was held earlier. The meeting was attended by the University rector and professors, and adviser to the president Pikria Chikhradze.

"I would ask all parties not to allow the controversy among the students, it would be an unforgivable mistake," - said Chikhradze.

It was reported that Lado Papava`s resignation was discussed at the meeting he otwas , but lated it was not confirmed. Lado Papava is not going to resign himself.

"The action plan will be a dialogue with the students, otherwise the University will enter a deep deadlock. Rector"s resignation will lead to a greated dead end than it is today at the university, "- said Lado Papava.
