The proposal of the Minister of Education regarding the creation of investigative commission to study the situation in the University has not been submitted to the parliament yet.

However, the ruling coalition is ready to discuss the matter. The legislators explained that the establishment of the Commission needs a clear justification.

According to the Regulations, the investigative commission can only be created if high-ranking officials are suspected in committing crimes.

George Tsagareishvili from Free Democrats Parliamentary faction believes that the demand for investigative commission is legitimate.

"If there is any kind of offense,everybody is equal before the law," - he stated.
