On the eighth day of the siege the university is still divided and the requirements have not changed. Student Self-Government put forward new conditions to the Rector, but Lado Papava still refused to resign. Self -Government postponed the deadline given to the Rector of the University till 23:00. Meanwhile they are agreeing next steps together with their supporters.

By this time, two of the university buildingsare paralyzed. Auditorium 115 is fortified in the building N1 while self government is camped in the neighboring building. Today the situation has escalated several times , as it was reported that one of the sides intended to break into the premises of the university
At the end of the day the Education Minister met with the Academic Council memebers.

Council members also held a meeting with the rector Lado Papavawho reiterated that he was not going to resign.
