Family is union of man and woman - public hearings of Constitutional Amendment

The Commission will hold public hearings in the regions regarding the constitutional amendments of the the definition of family. Consultations on Commission staffing are starting today.

The initiative belongs to the government. According to the amendments, the Constitution should comprise the definition of the family as the union of a woman and a man.

The opposition believes that the law already regulates this issue and do not consider it necessary to intervene additionally. Republicans have a similar attitude.
