A protest rally will be held in Tbilisi. The non-governmental organizations involved in thecampaign This Affects You protest against the surveillance and secret recordings of private life.

A trade union leader said that his organization had been a victim of blackmail.

"Our members have been repeatedly blackmailed by secret recordings. This practice should be ended in Georgiaand it is impossible to end it if the public openlydoes not reject this kind of nonsense, which we have been witnessing over the years, and especially in the last period, "-said Irakli Petriashvili.

The organizers say that the event is apolitical. Civil Development Agency (CIDA) Executive Director, Zviad Devdariani said that politicians can attend the rally, but he is asking them to refrain from the use of political paraphernalia.
