According to CNN and ABC NEWS, the emergency has been declared in the White House and the Capitol in Washington.
CNN reports that the cause of the alarm was shooting a couple of minutes ago in front of the Capitol`s visiting center.

According to Reuters, Capitol police officer was wounded in a shootout, his life is not in danger. The person who opened fire on Capitol tourist center has been arrested.The tourists were evacuated from the vicinity of the White house

BBC informs that due to the high risk of the White House and the Capitol were closed, all the buildings` entrances are under police control.

As CBS reports, the movement was banned on the roads leading to the Capitol and the White House.
