The death of one more citizen of Georgia in Syria is discussed in Pankisi. According to the locals, 39-year-old Vakha Bugievi fought in the ranks of the terrorist group. As they said, he would likely have been killed during the air strikes.
Bugiev lived in the village of Tsinubani in the Pankisi Gorge. He was married and had three children. As they say, he went to Syria in 2015, however, it is unknown when he crossed the border or how he arrived there.
"I knew that he lived in Tsinubani, had a wife and children, I think, he participated in several military operations in Syria and I learned today that he was killed,during the bombing," - said the memeber of the Pankisi Gorge Elders Council, Khaso Khangoshvili.
