The ruling team excludes the government"s interference in Rustavi 2 case. GD are convinced that judiciary is independent and will issue a fair decision.
"If there is any problem, it must be resolved through the courts," - said vice speaker Manana Kobakhidze.
The opposition claims that the developments around Rustavi 2 are in the interest of the government. They do not rule out that attack against the broadcasting company may be undertaken using other methods as well.
"The government is afraid of the truth that Rustavi2 is providng to the viewers,they are doing everything to hide the truth , so I expect a more serious attack on Rustavi 2, so we all must be prepared to defend the freedom of speech," - said Paata Davitaia, the Chairman of the European Democrats of Georgia .
