Protests rallies for the protection of the Botanical Garden are planned in the capital this week. NGOs protest against the change of borders of the Garden.

According to the civil sector, this area is a site of the cultural Heritage and its modification is not allowed. They do not rule out the possibility to start a legal dispute on that the matter.

The National Movement intends to raise the issue of Botanical Garden in the City Council. The minority does not exclude the possibility of holding a rally tomorrow to protest the selling of 29 hectares of land in purchasing of which as they say, Ivanishvili is interested.

The City Hall has announced a tender for this area.
