Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University begins the registration of candidates for the positon of teh University Chancellor. The process will start today at 10 am and end on 13 May at 6 pm .

The new head of the university administration was to be elected in March, but due to the students" protests, the only candidate - George Gaprindashvili refused to participate in the elections, after which the vote was postponed.

The students accused Gaprindashvili of secret cooperation with the state security service.
