A rally was held in Batumi due to alienation of local Botanical garden"s alienation. Students" protest and mentioning Bidzina Ivanishvili was followed by irritation of the University representative. He requested the students, UNM members and journalists to leave the territory.
After the meeting with University administration , students accused them of making illegal deals with government.

A rector of Batumi Shota Rustaveli University denied information on alienation of the University building. According to Merab Khalvashi the decision was made due to alternative territory offered by the Ministry of Economy.
