Detained at Botanical Garden rally persons appeal against 250 GEL fine

The particpants of the rally at the Botanical Garden who were fined by the first instance Court by 250 GEL are going to appeal the decision of the court.

The fine was imposed for disobedience and resistance to police.Six people were arrested by police on May 7.

It is planned to continue rallies against the sale of 29 hectares of land adjacent to the boundaries of the Botanical Garden.

Protesters plan to gather tomorrow at the City Council, where Tbilisi Mayor is epected to come in connection with the Botanical Garden issue.
