Rescuers searched for a vehicle and its driver in the Mtkvari river for more than 6 hours. The accident happened on the right embankment at night.

Witnesses said the car traveling with high speed broke the protecting fence and fell into the water. The car search started several minutes later but in vain.

Rescuers reported that low vision and river currents hinder their work. According to unconfirmed reports, only one person was in the car.

Police is mobilized on the ground.The investigation has been launched.
