Confidence in Prime Minister and Police reduced - Transparency International Georgia

Caucasus Research Resource Centers (CRRC) conducted a survey according to Transparency International - Georgia"s request. 2032 people,e took part in the survey conducted on March 15-28 , 2016. Among other issues, questions about were about t confidence in the country"s state institutions.


Like in previous years, Georgian society trusts teachers most of all. They are followed by doctors, a President, police and a Prime Minister.


43 percent of the population thinks that Bidzina Ivanishvili was a cause of Irakli Garibashvili"s resignation.

Since 2013-2015 ,there is a significant increase (11 percent) in the number of people who think that public officials abuse power due to private reasons.


Quite a large part of the population (43 percent), also believes that the Interior Ministry is politicized and serves the interests of the ruling party, with is unacceptable, according to 71 percent of interviewees.

39 percent of respondents think that the Constitutional Court is qualified, 30 percent think that it is politicized, 29 percent think that it is fair, while 26 per cent believe that it is biased.
