Athletes` relatives and supporters were gathered at the Interior Ministry until late. They arrived there around 9 p.m. Their rally was joined by the so- called political prisoners and the Georgian Dream members.

They voiced an extreme ultimatum in case the athletes were arrested. One of the demonstrators , who was reportedly a relative of the Deputy Prime Minister Kakha Kaladze, even threatened wikth self-immolation and denied relationship with Kaladze.

Protesters repeatedly verbally abused the Rustavi 2 journalist.
