Festive events will be held in the country on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of independence today. 

Solemn events will start at 12:00 am at the Liberty Square where recruits will take oath. Flower festival will also be organized. At 13:00 in the vicinity of the Youth Palace the so-called time capsule laying ceremony will be held, with the participation of Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.

Throughout the day the pantomime theater will offer performances to the population; exhibitions, street theater performances, Basti Bubu concert and other entertainment events will also be held. 
At 20:00, the Independence Day celebration will end with a gala concert which will be attended by Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Parliament Speaker Davit Usupashvili and foreign guests. Concerts will be held in all self-governing cities, except for Zugdidi.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense will deploy military vehicles on Rustaveli Avenue.
