Journalists and representatives of the third sector remark that today"s statement of Rustavi 2 Director General Nika Gvaramia shoud become the subject of interest of the judicial investigation. Gvaramia said at the trial that the previous panel of judges was under the pressure and asa result the acting panel was appointed .

" The Prosecution should get interested in Gvaramia`s statement and the investigation should be launched. It should be investigated whether the pressure on judges really took place.Naturally this should be interesting for the prosecutor"s office and it is unfortunate that the current panel did not consider the statement and despised what Nika Gvaramia said, "- said the journalist Ninia Kakabadze.

Bar Association Chairman Khatiashvili believes that Nika Gvaramia`s statement indicates the fact of a criminal offense, which must be investigated.
