According to the new law on Constitutional court judge Merab Turava appeals to the plenum to discuss Rustavi2"s motions.
Rustavi2"s lawyers state that Turava"s motion coincided with the moment, when judges from the Court of Appeals are discussing decision on Rustav i2"s case.

Merab Turava stated that he attached particular importance to the case and concluded that it would be better for this decision to be taken by nine judges.

A Director General of Rustavi2 states that Merab Turava"s initiative confirms the fact, that the new law on the Constitutional Court has been directed against Rustavi2.

Eka Beselia, one of the authors of the new law sees no danger in Merab Turava"s motion. She claims that new regulations have nothing to do with Rustavi2 case.

Plenum of Constitutional Court has seven days to make decision on Merab Turava"s motion.
