The non-parliamentary opposition has negative expectations of the Appeal Court decision. They say that Ivanishvili`s statements proves that the former Prime Minister and the government want to keep the critical media silent before elections.
" I have very bad expectations , because we see how the government is acting against Rustavi2 and that"s why we"re getting problems with viza liberalization. They probably need to hold elections with a silent background. This will not be done, "- said the European Democrats Chairman, Paata Davitaia.
The opposition is ready to defend "Rustavi 2" and engage in protests together with citizens. They are planning to attend today`s process.
The Labour Party believes that the former prime minister, Ivanishvili`s last appearance on TV has once again confirmed his interests in Rustavi 2.
