Plenum of the Constitutional Court to discuss "Rustavi 2" lawsuits today

The Constitutional Court Plenum will discuss Rustavi 2 lawsuits today. Judge Merab Turava addressed the plenum with a request to consider three appeals of the TV company a week ago which upheld his motion.

Today the compliance with the Constitution of articles 54 and 55 of the Civil Code regading immoral deals will be considered . The lawyers estimate that these articles violate the norms of the right to property guaranteed by the Constitution. After reviewing the plenum will leave for deliberation .
