Representatives of opposition parties also took part in the meetings. The mission was also briefed on the Rustavi 2 case.

"Russian special services are trying to get the pro-Russian parliament in order to delay the country"s progress towards the EU", - said the chairman of the European Democrats,Paata Davitaia.

NGO members also evaluated the NDI report. The representative of the Democratic Initiative, George Mshvenieradze said that according to the report, three main challenges have been identified - violent environment before the elections, decline of confidence in legal structures and informal governance problems .
