" Transparency International Georgia " Publishes results of the survey on the data about gambling. According to data gambling is very popular in country and the gambling business is one of the most important elements of the State Budget.

 The survey shows that representatives of the gambling industry often donate to Political Parties. The last such case took place in 2013 when Georgian Dream received 20 000 GEL from the Georgian Lottery Company.   Money was transferred by Levan Chikvaidze who is also the Executive Director of " Georgian Post".

UNM also received donations from gambling industry representatives.

According to survey published by " Transparency International Georgia " the State Budget received more than 105 million GEL from the Gambling Industry in 2013. That is 1,4 % of the whole budget of the country.
